He also spoke about recognizing great Ghanaians who have contributed immensely to the development of the nation’s development. People like the relatives of the legendary Tetteh Quarshie need to be recognized, in his opinion. He hailed Tetteh Quarshie as a hero who sacrificed his life to bring cocoa to Ghana.

He said Tetteh Quarshie could have been arrested and killed in the process of smuggling cocoa beans from Fernando Po to the then Gold Coast but he resiliently made the journey and delivered the beans that will benefit Ghanaians in generations to come. As such, his surviving relatives deserve recognition.

Maybe he should compose a song for Tetteh Quashie and his family members. I mean, what better way to recognize someone you really appreciate than crooning their achievements and hailing their family members on different stages all over the world?
