The President of One of the Most Corrupt Countries in the World-Nigeria to Help Ghana Fight Corruption

At the celebration of Ghana’s 61st Independence Day in Ghana earlier today, one of the invited dignitaries, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mahamadu Buhari boldly assured President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of Ghana of his support to fight corruption in Ghana.
This is not satire or parody: it actually happened even though you may be struggling to believe that Mahamadu Buhari made this promise.It’s laughable that the President of Nigeria, one of the most corrupt countries in the world, is about to help Ghana’s President fight corruption in Ghana when Nigeria continues to swim in that.
“I congratulate you on your efforts to fight corruption which has eaten into the public fibre…Your Excellency, I can assure you that you have a good partner in me in tackling endemic corruption,” the Nigerian President said.
